Welcome
Butte for a Free Palestine (BFP) is a growing group of local residents who began meeting and demonstrating in September 2025 in response to Israel’s genocidal war on the people of Gaza. We seek to bring comfort to the people of Palestine, to inspire our community to take action opposing Israel’s violence, and to deter US support for Israel’s aggression.
In spite of the declared “ceasefire” on October 10, 2025, Israel’s genocide in Gaza, enabled by US support, has not ceased. Israel continues to bomb people in their tents and camped in the rubble of their homes. Less than half the needed humanitarian aid is allowed to enter Gaza. In the West Bank, Israel’s violent attacks on Palestinian residents drive many thousands from their homes, their homes and orchards burned. More and more precious land is being violently taken over by Israeli settlers, all with support of the Israeli army.
Israel's public statements and actions indicate that their intention is to obliterate Palestine and claim the entire region for Israel. BFP is here to do what we can to counter that at a local community level. “Contact Us” if you would like to work with BFP or stay informed about what BFP is up to.

Our Mission
Butte for a Free Palestine stands against the genocide of the Palestinian people, who are being starved, bombed,removed from their indigenous land, denied humanitarian aid, and indiscriminately murdered by the Israeli government. By Israel ‘s public statements and actions, it is clear that their intent is to obliterate the Palestinian community and claim the entire region for Israel. BFP is here to do everything we can to counter it at a local community level. Our mission is to reach as many as possible in an effort to end the ongoing genocide and oppression of the Palestinian people – to inspire people to take action, and provide options and resources needed for the everyday citizen to take actions of their choice
